Fun with ChatGPT 4.0
Often, I recall quotes or sayings that relate to a topic being discussed. Today, Shakespeare’s “King Henry” came to mind in GoSign.Ai’s discord room, and… I ran to ChatGPT 4.0 with this prompt:
“let’s have some fun. can you rewrite the following, keeping the writing style and grammar as is, but modernizing the content of the poem as a rallying cry for the development of sign language recognition using machine learning for the Deaf community by GoSign.Ai: (shared the Henry V speech)”
Its response killed me! Enjoy!
Once more unto the code, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our data’s dread.
In peace there’s nothing so becomes a mind
As quiet learning and technology:
But when the call of progress rings in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the algorithm;
Stiffen the logic, summon up the models,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d code;
Then lend the eye a vision deep and wide;
Let pry through the layers of neural nets
Like the focused lasers; let the brow o’erwhelm it
As fiercely as doth a cutting-edge tech
O’erhang and jutty its ambitious aim,
Fill’d with the wild and limitless potential.
Now set the parameters and stretch the data wide,
Hold firm the belief and bend up every neuron
To its full capacity. On, on, you noblest coders.
Whose minds are set from mentors of tech-proof!
Mentors that, like so many Innovators,
Have in these labs from dawn till dusk toiled
And sheathed their doubts for the sake of progress:
Dishonour not your purpose; now attest
That those whom you call’d teachers did inspire you.
Be copy now to minds of future code,
And teach them how to build. And you, good engineers,
Whose skills were honed in the tech world, show us here
The mettle of your passion; let us swear
That you are worth your training; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble vision in your eyes.
I see you stand like processors in their slots,
Straining upon the start. The task’s at hand:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry ‘AI for GoSign, Progress, and Communication!’
